On My Shelves

I'm not v. fancy in the kitchen, I just mostly like to make things that are yummy and unlikely to fail.  (But I do sometimes fail.  Like the chickpea blondies I tried to make during my vegan phase:  MC spit out his bite and compared the concoction to refried beans mixed with sugar.  Oops!)

In addition to the food blogs I've listed on my main page, here are the cookbooks on my shelves I generally rely on for my recipes and ideas.  (You'll see what I mean by not fancy.)  I'm just typing as I read the titles - there's no meaningful order here, although I've bolded my faves.
